However i did split my audio signals to have their own ndi sources. up until now i haven't had any desync issue anymore. this drastically reduce the lag to the point where it became a millisecond thing and was stable for hours. You can do this directly on your ndi sources properties (on the streaming pc). The first "solution" to the desync problem was actually to set the Latency Mode to "low-experimental". And the desync will exponentially grow over time, getting worse and worse until it is "refreshed" as described found something interesting. I want that to be very clear, as some have linked me to fixes that were intended for the other way around. This is the VIDEO being delayed BEHIND the AUDIO instead. But this is not the case with this specific issue. I see a lot of "fixes" for this issue if it's the other way around, where usually the audio is delayed BEHIND the video. I stream every day so finding time to do such a thing is a bit of an endeavor.Īnyway, I somehow hope all this information helps in some way. Only thing I haven't tried is a full wipe of OBS and re-install, but I'd rather not do with all the custom profiles and plugins I have right now. And it's strange the issue started with an OBS update, but then persisted even with a roll back. I have tried Allow Hardware Acceleration but this adds a ridiculous delay to the video for some reason, so I keep it off.Įssentially I have tried everything, even going to older OBS versions, with no resolve. I have tried Latency Mode = Normal and Low, both still get the issue eventually, and actually Normal seems worse now, and I HAVE to use Low latency mode. I have tried leaving on Source Timing vs Networking, desync still happens after a while. I rolled back to my previous version 27.0.1, but that did not fix it for some reason. This is driving me crazy, I do the same thing to "reset" it, changing Sync from Source Timing to Network and then back again, or turning on and off Hardware Acceleration, whatever sort of "refreshes" it as it were. I double posted here because issue #60 is closed. then it's fixed so you can go back to "Source timing". Only way to reset video is to change from "Source timing" to "Network". This is after the update at the beginning of my race This video was registered before the update, at the beginning of a race there is no desyncĪnd the same video later in the race as you can see in this one there is a slight video desync (look at gear change number from bottom dashboard and to the upper one that come directly from the simulator) The switch is shutted down every day when I shut down both my gaming PC and my streaming PC. Also from my webcam that is connected to my gaming PC and is in the OBS scene in my gaming PC you can see the difference in sync when I talk.īoth pc are connected via ethernet to a switch. When I change gear, audio is in sync with simhub dash (the bottom one), but on the upper one gear change happen after 1 second. On the streaming I have two dashboard that shows gear change, the upper one is the one I see and is on in the simulator, the bottom one is an overlay only for the streaming. Now after a few minutes video is 1sec late and audio is ok.Īudio and video come from my gaming PC, on the bottom of the streaming I have a dashboard coming from Simhub on gaming PC that go to OBS streaming PC. Previous OBS version was fine, yes a little delay in sync after a few hour but was still ok. I have big video desync on OBS 27.1.3 on windows. Same as and wrote some days ago on closed issue #60
